As I understand it, MS removed this "feature" in PP2003.... but I still need
it!
I still want to use greyscale images in my instructor's guide(s) that go
along with my presentations. Does anyone have a method (either via the
regular menus, or using VBA) to generate greyscale images of the powerpoint
slides in 2003? I especially like the fact that the old greyscale option
took out the background, so only the slide contents would show (easier to
read in the instructors guide that way).
As an add-on question, once I know how to export each slide as a greyscale,
it would be additionally helpful if anyone could tell me what parameters to
use in VBA (assuming that is the only solution at this point) so that I can
also resize the image as it is saved. I don't need a full-size greyscale
image, it only needs to be about 2 inches wide. That way I won't have to
worry about taking up a lot of extra memory with oversized images in my
destination file
Many, many thanks-
Keith
p.s. I would have liked to do a record macro and export the greyscale
slides, and grab the code from a PPXP or PP2000 machine to see if it shows
parameters that might still be available via VBA just not in the menu in
2003, but all of our machines were upgraded at the same time, and now I
don't have any machines with older versions to try to grab the code. If
anyone running Office 2000 or XP would be willing to record the macro and
post just the code snippet, that would be helpful too!
