Saving Publisher document to an older version.

I'm running Publisher 2002 on my Windows XP and also have MS Office
Professional Home Ed. I routinely create Publisher documents on my computer
for another computer that is running an older version of Publisher and need
to "save as" to older version. The Pub. 2002 version seems to think that the
"file is to large to save in an older version" yet I can put the exact
graphic and text in MS Word document and "save as" in older version and it
saves just fine. Also, it would be nice to update just Publisher since I'm
having difficulty updating the complete XP SP3. Any ideas?

I have essentially the same problem! For some reason, a flyer done in
Publisher 2000 with graphic and text opens in Publisher 2002. Yet, if I go
to save the file in 2000 format, Publisher complains about the graphics being
to big.

Now I am left with a publication that has just a text box and no picture.
