Saving Publisher files in PDF

I have tried every trick I know to get Acrobat 6 to save
Pub 2003 files as a Pdf nothing works I try the old
printer is distilier and every thing seems ok until you
try to open the (publisher File)pdy file and Adobe say's
it does nor reconise the .pdf extension. In the rest of
the office suit it is no problem in fact a 1 step button
is in all other programs but not Publisher.

Any Ideas greatfully welcome

Has the driver worked in the past? Did you install anything in the meantime?
What steps are you taking?

I wish there was a one step button as well but I don't think File|Print and
then selecting the driver is too much of a pain. Could be a lot worse I
guess.

Adobe 6 is different than the earlier versions, the distiller is no longer in the
printer folder, you print directly to Adobe PDF. Select this printer, properties,
check to see if you have the settings correct.
