Saving screenshots as files

Hi

I had a recent post which was about reducing the size of a word doc - made
huge because of images taking up too much memory. I have reduced my file
size by ensuring that these are saved in the doc as JPEGs but Anne suggested
I should always compress the image BEFORE it gets into my word doc. My
question is HOW I actually save a screen shot [ie - 'Print Screen' - CTL V]
as a file in it's own right so that I can compress it.

Cheers

After using Print Screen, Paste the image into your graphics program of
choice and save it in the format of your choice.

Suzanne S. Barnhill

And FWIW, a GIF is usually more appropriate for most screen shots.
