saving search text

Does anyone know an easy way to save the text of search and replaces. I use
several in all my documents. I could make a macro, but I don't like using
that method because it comes with a lot of complications--namely they don't
seem to remain individual macros but seem to become one big macro.

I've tried saving the searches in a Word file, but that has it's own issues.

Hi Rittama,

'tis a bit hard to offer a solution when you don't want to use the available tools.

If those are the only two ways to save search and replace text pairs so be
it, but I was just wondering if anyone had figured something more
straightforward. Thanks.
