Saving tabs in templates

I have a template with sections, each section has different tab settings. When I create a new document based on the template, the tab settings are not there. Any ideas?

Hello Karen,

Create the tab settings using Styles and apply the styles where you want
them to be applied. These styles should be in your template.

Thanks Charles,

It turns out that the sections I want to format are the TOC and the
Captions. I can't seem to find where to edit these styles. Any
suggestions?
