Saving tasks as templates

I have sevearl tasks, including subtasks, delay times, and linking, that I
use repeatedly in various projects. Is there a way to save the tasks as
"templates" or the like that can easily be recalled and used in a new project?

Probably a couple ways to do this. What I have done in the past is record a
macro with all the necessary typing, etc. and store it in the Global.mpt.

When I need the task group, I run the macro and then manually add the one or
two needed predecessors/successors to get the dates to work where I need them.

I have saved a number of task listings as .mpt files on either a local
drive or in SharePoint for reuse. I open the files and copy and paste
the tasks into Project.
It beats typing and allows me to set standards that will be reused
from project to project.
