saving templates

hi i'm using office 2007, i have a problem as when i download a tempate or
any other stuff a new document opens and thetemplate is visible, the next
document i open i cannot re inster the tempalte cause it disappears, any
suggestions ?

Make sure you are Saving the Template as a Template from the Office Button
Choose Save As "program name" template

Also try ...Office Button >New> My templates
