Saving timescale and details opened in Resource Planning view

I have created a view I like by adjusting the timescale and what details are
selected using the resource planning view. Is there a way to save this view?
When I try to save it all I see how to select the timescale and details.

Dear David,

I understand your requirement as you have customized a time-scaled view and
you are required to save (or export) to time-phased data to excel.

In Microsoft Office Project 2007 or its earlier version, Save As to Excel
workbook does not save the time-phased data.

My suggestion is to use the "Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel ..." of
Analysis toolbar to export the timephased assignment data of resources to
excel.

Exported data would include the time-scale headings and its details.

Please let us know if this helps.

Regards
Sai [PMP]

Doesn't Project automatically save the current view? If you want to
have a view that automatically recreates your level of timescale 'zoom'
then one way would be to create a macro. This macro could switch to
your preferred view and then adjust the timescale.

Hope I've understood your question correctly.
