Saving to disk

Karen

I am working up some templates in Excel for a friend who insists that he be
able to work off of a floppy or a zip disk. However, the program is not
letting me save to either media. The computer tells me that the media cannot
handle these types of files.

Do not save/open directly to any removable media.
Save to the HD and copy and v/v (copy to the HD and open).

You're asking for corruption.

But, I'd like to save to a CD Disk to transport to & from work. I don't
have the optionn to save to Disk E which is my CD Drive. How do I get the
program to recognize my Disk Drive E? I am curently backing up to A floppy
and J Zip drive.

Read again what Rob said.

DON'T save to the CD.
Save to the hard disk and copy to the CD.
