Saving to Excel - Project 2003

Everytime I save a project to excel, it saves in the excel 95 format. How
can I change si that it saves in the excel 2003 format?

Hello BrooksSanford,

I assume you are running the "Analyze timescaled data in Excel"
option. Sorry, there is no way to change that but you can work with
Excel 95 formatted files in any later version of Excel. Is there
something specific you are looking for that you can't find?

I am just doing the "Save As" in order to provide project information to
users who do not have Project 2003 installed on their computers. So, Project
2003 will only save in the Excel 95 format and not in Excel 2003?

Hello,

When you Save As Project runs the export wizard. It saves as an
Excel 95 file -- I assume for backwards compatibility reasons. You
can save in Excel 2003 format once the export is done if this is a
concern.
