I am tring to work with a publishing company.
I would like to save my Color rendering of a map to a format that he can use
to print into our brouchure.

I believe he uses MAC.

I would like to not loose and resolution.
What format would be best to save my page to ?

Visio can actually save to either JPEG or PNG. I believe that when you save
your drawing as JPEG or PNG you will be actually presented a window wherein
you can choose the background color, the quality, resolution, and size of the
document.

When I tested this out with a drawing, in my personal opinion i would prefer
saving it as PNG.

Ask your publisher to what resolution are you going to use (by default when
you select print, Visio will set the resolution to 600 x 600 pixels per
inch).

Chester,
Thank you for the feed back

I have saved as JPEG, how ever the orientation seems to change.

I will try PNG.
I ask them if this will work for them.

A non-compressed TIFF format may be better for this.
