Saving to .IMP format

Hi. I'm being asked to supply data in a .IMP format. The supplier tells me all I have to do is save as .csv, but the resulting file isn't recognised. Replacing .csv by .imp or .IMP doesn't work either.

Any suggestions?

Isn't "recognized" by what? Have you tried zipping the file before
transmitting it?

Also, simply changing a file's extension doesn't make it another type of
file - in fact it can cause it to become damaged when the deceived program
attempts to open it.

I'm afraid I can't offer anything more without specific details about what
is involved & the procedure you're using.
