Saving Toolbar position

Frank

Hello,

i added some additional toolbars in my MS Project Professional 2003 SP3. I
moved the toolbars to get two lines.

Each time i started Project again, the additional toolbars are placed in a
separated line. How can i save the toolbar position?

Frank,
I'm not sure what you are asking as you say you have moved the toolbars to
show on two lines and when you exit and restart Project they are shown on two
lines?

You could try going to View>Toolbars>Options and checking that the
checkboxes for 'Show Standard and Formatting Toolbars on two rows' is
selected (or not dependant upon whether you want them on two rows).

Hope this helps

Hello Richard,

thanks for your answer!

I saw this option under View->Toolbars->Options, but this solve not my
topic.

I will describe it with other words, so i hope it will be clear.

Normally a toolbar needs a vertical space of one row on the screen. I added
some additional toolbar and moved it into two rows on the screen for save
spacing on the screen.

I do not found any menu item to save the custom arranged toolbars. So i
closed it and hope, that the toolbar position is saved automatically.

If i open project again the toolbars are arranged by project into 4 rows on
the screen.

So my question is, how can i saved the position of my custom arranged
toolbars?

Does v2003 have the File / Save Workspace...... menu item, and if so does
using that have the desired effect ?
