saving unsent messages in drafts in outlook

I have cleared the box under automatically save unsent messages in 2007 and I
found that it is still saving in drafts. would like to stop saving.

Options
Email Options
Check the "Automatically save unsent messages box"

In the email , click the X in the top right (as opposed to send) and outlook
will save he message to the drafts folder where you can retreive and edit
later.
