Saving views in Project 2003 Professional Client

I have users in my organization that cannot make changes to new or existing
views in Project 2003 client. They can modify the view while in the schedule
however when they return any changes are not saved. What/where is this
permission controlled?

It sounds like they are attempting to make changes to an enterprise View or
enterprise Table, such as the Enterprise Gantt Chart or Enterprise Entry
table, which is not permitted in Project Server. Instead, they should make
a copy of the enterprise View and then modify the copy. They should use the
Organizer (Tools - Organizer) to save their personal custom View in their
Global.mpt file for use with current and future projects. Hope this helps.
