saving visio 2003 for visio 200, is this possible?

Is it possible to save a visio 2003 file, so that it can
load on a visio 2000 computer?

Visio can save as the previous version. For Viso 2003, the previous version
is Visio 2002, but the file format did not change from Visio 2000 to Visio
2002. So Visio 2000 can read the information saved by Visio 2003.

HI John,

I sent a visio 2003 file to someone who has visio 2000 and
they could not load the file.

Should I try saving it as a visio 2002 file to see if it
will load on visio 2000.

Visio 2002 and Visio 2000 have the same file format. If you save as a Visio
2002 file, someone with Visio 2000 should be able to read it.
