Saving visio document in memory in a .Net app

Is it possible to save a doc in stream XML file in memory ? I'm using C#.

Oops, I used the "save" word but what I really mean is getting a XML/VDX
file in memory without first saving it physically and they read it..........

I believe the answer is no, since we keep getting requests to add support
