Saving word 6.0 doc's, format to word pad.

I am running microsoft small business 2000,lately whenever
I save my documents it saves it as a wordpad document.It
has never done this before only lately.
Could you please enligten me?

Tools/Options/Compatability/Recommended Options/ Change it to what ever you
deisre.
