Saving word document with imported images

After importing images from Adobe Illustrator into
Microsoft Word, and then attempting to save, a message
appears saying that i can not svae as the disk is full.
This can't be the case as i have 512 MB ddr ram, and 40
gb Hard drive,while the document itself is 96 kb. I used
to own Windows Millenium and there nevr used to be a
problem.

I can not save anything while this keeps happening. Can
someone please help!!!!!!!!
