Saving Work Office 2007 Excel Worksheets

I installed the trial version of Office 2007 Pro (which is a problem also in
that I bought the OEM version with a new machine which had only a key, no
media and was not loaded on the new PC) anyhow.. all operate fine except I
have a server running Windows NT here at home with several other computers
sharing files on that server. They are all running Office XP pro or Office
2003 Pro. I can pull up the files from the server in Office 2007 and use
them normally but I cannot do a "save" or a "save as" to any files writing
back to the NT server from Excel. I can save them to the local harddrive and
then copy-paste the saved file to the server and read them fine with my other
equipment. Any suggestions what the problem is with Excel saving documents
to a NT server? .... B 4 I sent this I tried to do the same with MS Word 2007
and I am having the same problem there too however I am getting a different
error... "There has been a network or file permission error". I may have
something going on in the operating system. This MS Windows Vista is driving
me nuts.
