saving zoom factor in word 2002 ?

How can I save the zoom setting in word 2002 ?

I tried modifieing the normal.dot but everytime I opening a new document
zoom factor is page width instead of 100%... that's what I want... 100%

Hi. This seems to work in Word 2002 for Mac.

Start M$ Word. Create a new document by clicking the document
icon in the tool bar. Set the zoom to 100%, using the tool bar
again. Close the document (you are not asked to save anything).
Quit M$ Word.

Start M$ Word again. Create a new document. You'll see that it
will open with the new default zoom view.
