I've created a Acess database on my desktop computer and I want to save it to a cd so I may transfer the data to my laptop and use my laptop for the data input. When I try to open the database in my laptop a message comes up saying it is read-only. I've looked thru the help section and can't figure out how to save the database so I can open it in my laptop

Thanks

When you copy a database to a CD, normal behavior is that it is made
read-only. After copying to your laptop, find the database file in Windows
Explorer, right click on it and select Properties. In the Properties
window, you can un-check the Read Only box.
