SBERET.MSI

Martin

I have been using Microsoft XP now for over a year, now
suddenly, I cannot use Outlook as it says it is not
configured for the curent user and asks for a file
SBERET.MSI which is not on my installation disks. Any
suggestions?!

This is caused by a missing Windows Installer file. It could be that
it is corrupt or if Office came preinstalled then typically the
Installer file wasn't included in the image. In any event, to correct
it you will need to zap the Windows Installer entry in the Registry
and reinstall Office.

Obtain the following utility and use it to remove only the reference
to Office. Once that is complete then you'll need to reinstall Office
to point the Windows Installer to your installation CD
