SBS 2003

We will be migrating to SBS 2003 (I am very excited about getting SQL Server
2003 in the deal). Will Access work very well with Access? I am currently a
Delphi programmer, but have Access 2002. Will Access work with SQL Server
better than Delphi?

Hi Carl,

AFAIK there'd be nothing between Access and Delphi for "working with" -
connecting to and storing/querying data in - SQL Server. Delphi gives
you more flexibility in interface design and a more elegant language to
work in. Also, if the users' machines don't have Access, it's less of a
pain to install a Delphi app than the Access run-time plus an Access
app.

On the other hand I feel that once you're used to it Access beats Delphi
as a RAD tool for database apps - especially if you need to automate
other Office apps.
