Scale maintenance problems

Hi, I am producing floor plans, building elevation drawings in Visio 2000. I
set the page up to be A4 size, set the scale to be 1:100 and then do the
plans - everything is fine.

However, when I then convert the visio file to a jpeg or pdf and then print
the resulting page out on A4 I am finding that the scale is not as it should
be... which is driving me mad! For example - the length of a wall on the
visio drawing (on the screen) is 11cm representing 11m - but when converted
to jpeg and printed it comes out at 13cm (ie 13m) and on the pdf printed it
is 11.5cm - it 11.5m.

Can anyone point me towards the error of my ways?

Many thanks

Hi David

Thanks for the suggestion - yep zoom is set to 100%

I think I found the answer for the pdf conversion - now I set all the
margins for the printer page setup at 0 - it seemed to do the trick but still
have no idea how to sort the jpeg 'stretch' that seems to happen

Cheers

This is another example of finding a posting by Tish that is not from me.
Does anyone know how to report this issue to Microsoft.

User names on these discussion groups do not have to be unique, how do
you sign in to post here, .NET passport? Live ID? Passport? They will
identify you uniquely. But there can be more than one Tish.
