Hi,
I am a new user to Visio and basically know what I need to in order to get
by, but now I could use some help if anyone is willing.
I am working on a layout for a convention center that our business will be
using for an upcoming convention. I have imported a cad drawing of the
facility into Visio (2003) and have converted it as well. I need to take this
drawing and add some additional elements. However, the preexisting elements
are not to scale. For instance, when I click on a support beam that should be
5 ft x 5 ft, the size and position window says that it's only 2 in x 2 in. I
need to find a way to scale the drawing - as a whole - to the actual
dimensions. I know how to adjust the page size and drawing scale, but I don't
think this is the same thing b/c - in the past - when I have applied a scale,
the dimensions of the elements (in the size & position window) are still
correct / true to real life, but here this isn't the case.
any suggestions? thanks!
