Scan for Office Updates

This utility has a corrupted file and won't work. Any way
to reload this or fix it? Scan for Windows Updates works
fine.

No scanner...on the Office Update page there is an option
to have MicroSoft scan your computer for available
updates. It uses a downloaded utility to accomplish
this. Same type of approach as when they scan your
computer for availble Windows updates. This utility is
not working for the Office update identification
application and I am wondering how to repair the utility
or reload it.

If you clear your Internet cache of ALL offline content, then it should
re-download. You could also look in IE Options > General >Settings > View
Objects then you should see the Office scanner control. Delete/rename it.
