Scan to Office 2003 doesn't work

Windows XP SP1; Office 2003; HP 4470c scanner (USB) with HP Precisionscan
Pro 3.14.

This all worked fine with Office XP, but now I've replaced Office XP with
Office 2003 and have some problems.

1. The "Scan To" list in HP Precision Pro 3.14 includes Power Point and
Outlook, but not Word

2. When I "Scan To" Power Point, the scanner activates and "scans", but when
it tries to start Power Point, HP Precision Pro crashes. It works fine when
I "Scan To" Paint or Word Pad. Also, if I start Power Point, click Insert,
Picture, from Scanner or Camera... this process works as expected.

Any ideas about what to do to correct these problems?

It might solve your issue. It has a February, 2004 timestamp.
