Scanned a picture, trying to upload on web, but need to be saved .

I am trying to upload my picture into a profile on the web and once I browse
and find the file a message comes up that the file need to be saved in a jpeg
format with a jpg extension. please help me.

You open the file in an image editor and then save as a *.jpg file. When you
save the file, best to save it in a resolution suitable for web use.

While you posted to a Office newsgroup, your post does not indicate which
version of Office {if any} you have. If you have Office 2003, you could use
Picture Manager and then export as *.jpg with a web large or web small
resolution.

Just about any image editor program will work. Even Windows Paint except
that I am not sure that Paint will accomplish any resolution adjustment.
