scanned documents using ocr in word 2007?

[converting scanned documents to Word]

I used to be able to convert document from a picture to a word doc after
scanning them. Don't seem to be able to do so in Word 2007 but I know there
is something I need to install!

In the Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features if
you're using Vista), click on Microsoft Office 2007 (exact name depends on
version). Then click on Change - Add or Remove Features - Continue. Expand
the Office Tools section, then look for Microsoft Office Document Imaging,
expand it, then set Scanning, OCR, and Indexing Service Filter to "Run from
my computer".
