Can use Microsoft Works Word Processor to change scanned
documents? If so, how? Thanks

You'll have to scan it to an OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
first. Neither the innate Works word processor or Word will process a
plain scan, which comes out a graphic file if not passed thru the OCR.
Just save it as a .txt or .rtf file, and you should have no problem.
