scanning in office

I printed the Help and how to for this. When i go into microsoft office
tools there is no "microsoft office document scanning". Do I need to
download something. I have over 300 papers that need to be scanned so i can
them to my employer's home computer.

Microsoft Document Imaging is not installed by default. Insert your Office disk,
install the program.

The Document scanning app does ask for the scanner and allows a test.
When I use it, the scanner's software (ScanGear) is emplyed.
