I'm using an HP Officjet d145 all-in-one machine, and every time I attempt to
scan a document into Word, I get a large error dialog stating "Microsoft Word
has encountered a problem and must close. We're sorry for the
inconvenience." There're two buttons to send/not send an error report to
Microsoft. I'm using Windows XP Professional SP2, and MS Office 2000. I CAN
scan to WordPad without problems, but that doesn't preserve all the features
of the document (e.g. colored text, logos, etc.) I have all the very latest
HP drivers installed, as well as the latest BIOS from DELL.
