Second try:
I'm working on a check processing application in Access
97. Its a fairly simple app that records data about a
check received by my company along with displaying a
scanned image of the check.
What my boss would like is to be able to scan and save the
image directly from within Access. I'm not sure, but I
think we need 3rd party software to do that. If we do does
anyone have any recommendations?
Right now I have the app set up so it displays the image
of the check in an unbound image control. Since the image
is saved in a folder for the date processed and named with
the check number, its easy to set the Picture property of
control to the file. However, there may be times when they
need to zoom in on parts of the image. I haven't been able
to figure out a way to double click the image and open it
in a viewer. Any suggestions on that part?
Thanks,
