I scanned my bosses letterhead into a word document. Now
I want to type a letter on it. I can't get to the
document. Help!

You need to put the letterhead in the header, set to Behind Text.

Hi

Scanning creates an image a bit like Acrobat reader. You can't edit it as it
is.

What you actually need is a text recognition software (OCR which stands for
Optical Character Recognition) which will scan the document into a Word
..doc.

Then you can edit the header (if you wish) and add text.

But OCR's cost money and need a few days to master so try getting a friend
to do it.

Good luck

You scanned the whole page? Use the page as a background image - set it
behind text. Better still, scan just the header and footer information from
the page and put these in the first page header of your document template.
