Scanpst.exe hangs in Outlook 2007 (Vista)

While running scanpst as I do weekly, the program now hangs (no movement
after 30 minutes) after 7/8 phases. No errors at all and Outlook opens
without a problem or gear icon. It has not been shut down improperly and all
instances are closed before I try to scan. The .pst size is ~800mb and even a
scanpst of the .BAK file hangs at the same 7th of 8 stages.

I've tried in Safe Mode too.
