A very general question on design. I hope this is ok.

I am trying to find the best way to design a database allowing users to
enter short notes on where they will be daily for a two week span (pay
period). They would have a front end db and the backend would be on the
server.

When they log in an update would go out to the backend and a report could be
pulled showing a two week span at a time and the user names shown in rows
w/an entry in the grid for each of the days.

http://www.access.hookom.net/Samples.htm. I'm not sure how much "short
notes" you can display across the page if you have two weeks in a single
row.

The user only show a word for 1 or 2 locations he or she will be in. Example,
Name 8/1/06 8/2/06.....
Smith HQ, Leave ABC Co.
Johnson Forum XYZ Co.

You should check out the reports I suggested. Another option is to create a
crosstab query and report as described at
