Schedule Locked

I have an issue with one of my schedules. It seems to be locked and will not
allow any input at all. I have closed the shedule, project , and even
re-booted my machine. I have also opened the schedule on other desktops and
have the same problem. I went as far to save the schedule as an mpp file.
However, no information is saved. Any ideas what may be causing this issue?
I used PS2003. Thanks in advance for any insight you might be able to
provide.

Can you open the timeline? Can you change view and see if there is any
duplicate view in project ?

Gaurav.
I confirmed that there are not duplicate views. I didn't understand the
questions about timeline, please explain. As side note the last good
schedule was save Tuesday a.m. The problem cropped up Tuesday afternoon when
some external links were added. The links were not saved because PS would
not allow it.

Thanks for your help.

Can you turn off the calculation and see if that resolves the issue?

Gaurav,
Still nothing. One other quirk I didn't mention. The schedule added a "0"o
line at the very top and all the details are empty, i.e., work=0 hrs, actual
work=0 hrs, Start=NA, Finish=NA, etc. Number 1 line and the normal schedule
name line and subsequent lines are the tasks as normal.
Very perplexing.

Johnnie,

Have you tried inserting the file into a new project file (open new
file, insert project, check read only, uncheck link to file) and
seeing what appears (or not)?

Best of luck

Thanks everyone for your help. We finally decided to create a new schedule
from the remaining work and go from there.
