Schedule Power Point Windows XP Task Schedule

I

ikostic

We have a few computers which are not used all the time So when computer is
idle for more than 5 minutes Power Point presentation is supposed to run and
to stop when ESC key is pressed..

Ihave added a new task in chedule with command line

ppview32.exe new.pps

It runs fine when a user is logged on but it doesn't run when no user is
logged on the computer. Basically when I wait more than 5 minutes and then
log on. I check the task log and it appears that the task ppview32 was
started at scheduled time and (in scheduled tasks details view it appears as
it is still running and I have to click and on it right mouse button and
select end task to stop the task). In log file it appears as WARNING the task
was stopped ...

I have put the other task (shutdown -r -t 60) and it is executing fine (the
computer reboots) regardles if somebody is logged on or not.

I have 20 machines runing Windows 98 and PPVIEW32 task runs fine there
regardsles if somebody is logged on or not. So it is something in Windows XP
which prevents PPVIEW32 to run when no user is logged on.

thanks for any suggestions.
