schedule task for weekend

I've just started using Project 2003. It will not allow
me to schedule any tasks for saturdays or sundays. Is
there a way to change it so that every calendar day is
available by default for every project I create?

If you want to schedule work for a task to ONLY occur on a weekend day, you
will need to create a custom weekend work calendar that shows Saturday and
Sunday as working time and Monday through Friday as nonworking time (Tools -
Change Working Time - New). You would also need to assign this calendar as
a Task Calendar on any task that must occur on a weekend (double-click the
task, select the Advanced tab, and then select a Calendar).

If you want to schedule work to happen any day from Sunday through Saturday,
you can modify the Standard calendar for the project to include both
Saturday and Sunday as working time. Hope this helps.
