I am trying to find a way to make Schedule Task manager to execute program
minimized. I use Outlook 2003 that needs to be open all the time. One way
would be to prevent Outlook from being closed when user presses X but so far
I have not found a way. The alternative is to use Schedule Task manager to
load Outlook every few minutes and since it does not load if it is already
in memory, it's ok. The only problem now is that when the Outlook is not
loaded, I want it to be loaded minimized so as to not distract user. In the
Scheduler for Windows98 there was a option "-minimize" that could be added
to the run command in task scheduler but it does not work in WindowsXP.
I have also tried to create Shortcut with the Properties set to Minimize on
open but when pointing to this shortcut with Schedule Task manager, it
ignores this option. I also tried it with all the other Office 2003 programs
with the same result.
