Schedule Variance Calc

I have a task with a baseline finish date of 7/19/05 and it was 100%
complete as of 7/21/05. The Status Date is 8/1/05. The task has a
negative schedule variance. How can this be? If a task is 100%
complete before the status date, its BCWS should equal BCWP and the SV
should be 0 (we use %Complete for EV calcs). There are over a hundred
other tasks in the project and their EV calcs are correct. Anyone know
what could be causing this?
