Scheduled Compacting, Repairing, Copying & Backing up a mdb backend

Hi,

I know this must have been covered a number of times but I cannot find
anything comprehensive enough.

I need the required coding that checks the Windows version that the users
system is running, then if Task Scheduler is available on that Win ver,
compact, repair, copy & backup the backend mdb scheduled once a day .

If this has been covered in detail with comprehensive how-tos, I would
appreciate a link to the url.
