Scheduled database update

Don

I have an Access database that is networked and I need help figuring out a
way to update the back-end internal tables with linked tables automatically.
Currently I have linked tables that do not have unique records and I cannot
modify those records. I can import the tables and eliminate the duplicate
records by various appending, deleting and updating queries to update my
tables in Access. I do this using a macro inside Access with a switchboard
button.

Specifically, I would like to use some method where I can have the computer
do this, say at 5AM, before the employees arrive so the information is ready
for the employees and there is no delay causing a loss in productivity. I do
not want to have to depend on certain people to show up to perform this task
andDennis we have much turn over and new people forget or sometimes we forget
to train them as this detail is often forgotten.

I am running Windows 2000/Office 2000.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Dennis
