scheduled send and recieve

Hi

we have just upgraded to 0ffice 2007 on our machines and i currentl
have two associates who are having issues with the scheduled send an
receive

they are set to a 3 minute time delay, after 3 minutes they receiv
mail but outbox will not send? (until they press the send\receiv
button)

without a time delay all works perfectly??

any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks for the reply, afraid i have done every delay from 1-6mins,
still exactly the same proble

You need to increase the timeout for send/receive to at least 10 minutes,
otherwise Outlook steps all over itself. 15 is preferred.

I dont think the business would like that much of a time dela
unfortunatly, is there any other way that you know of ie a rule etc

Then you would use an Exchange server instead of the ISP mail accounts.

Can you actually read all of your incomiing mail in 3 minutes before you
poll for more? 10-15 minutes is not unreasonable.
