I have many users on Project Server 2007. We use the Outlook integration for
snycing Task. One thing that is a hassle is scheduling and leveling resources
around personnal schedules. I currently have a single project that I use for
'Out Of Office' and 'In Direct' time. It is time consuming to maintain when
only three of us have project professional. I have to have all teams report
updated schedules at the end of the week so I can update the Out of Office
times and In Direct times.
Here is what I would like to have. Any ideas on how to accomplish this would
be appreciated.
Each user maintains their personal schedules (in direct, meetings, out of
office) in Outlook 2007 (currently being done). I would like to be able to
sync those schedules in Project Server. When working with projects, it would
use those personnal schedules/calendars to determine availability. Would be
easier for users to maintain their own schedules and for me to level the
projects each month.
