schedules

Need a yearly schedule that is formatted in a circle / pie chart form.
Therefore, each slice would represent each of the months of the year. The
software would need to automatically enable the user to add notes to each
month easily, so that the writing of the months events would read vertically.

What software would I need to use to create this type of calender/schedule?

Nat,
A very interesting request. Why in the world, or should I say, how in
the world would a pie chart formatted schedule look? I can't even fathom
it. Further if you want to add notes, it seems to me it will get real
messy really fast.

Very curious.

Nat,
I forgot to add something. If you indeed have a schedule in MS Project
that you want to format in this way, it cannot be done directly in
Project. But, Project schedule data could be exported to a more graphics
friendly application, (e.g. PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), using VBA and
formatted as a pie chart. But as a long time Project user, I have never
heard of or envisioned such a schedule presentation format.

I think that this is not possible with any currently existing product. You
could certainly create an application like this, but you would have to
develop it yourself. One question is how would you display schedules longer
than one year? Another is how do you display variances in the schedule (vs.
baseline for example)?
