Hi all,
When I schedule a meeting I want to schedule a conference
room (resource) as well as invite meeting attendees. I
would also like to be able to see what conference rooms
are available or booked so that I can choose my conference
room from my desk.
I think that for the first part, I need to set up my
conference rooms as they are users so that I "technically"
invite the room to my meeting which allows a free/busy
search of the conference room I choose. However, can I
obtain a view of all the conference rooms to see if they
are booked BEFORE I even set up my meeting? Is this
possible? We were thinking of setting up Public calendar
folders and then setting up a meeting by double-clicking
in one of those calendars but the problem is that EVERYONE
would be able to see the details of everyone's meeting
(which we don't want). If anyone knows if we are doing
this correctly or if anyone has any suggestions on how to
do it, I would greatly appreciate it.
