I have scheduled a Live Meeting, and I have gotten responses from people
designated as Meeting Attendees, as well as some from Presenters. The people
designated Attendees do not show their status in the tracking view. Only
people invited as Presenters have their status shown in the Tracking View.
I have tried with a normal calendar meeting that I changed to a Live
meeting, and a meeting that was originally a Live Meeting - no difference. I
have tested inviting someone as an Attendee, and then changing them to a
Presenter. If I send them a meeting update, and they accept, their status
appears in the tracking view.
One workaround is to schedule the live meeting with no-one invited, then
copy the Live Meeting link from that meeting and paste it into a normal
outlook meeting. This is somewhat cumbersone, especially if you want to
invite some but not all people as presenters.
Is this a limitation, or is there a solution? I am using Outlook 2007 and
Livemeeting 2005.
